The Pub
Come as you are.

The Heart of It
The Bar
Pull up a stool and stay a while. Cold pints, friendly faces, and the game on when it matters. Where regulars become friends and Tuesdays feel like Fridays.

Room to Breathe
Upstairs
A little quieter, a little more room to breathe. Settle in by the fireplace or grab a spot on the balcony. Whether it's a long lunch or an evening that gets away from you, there's always a good table upstairs.

When the Sun Shows Up
The Patio
When the Calgary weather cooperates, our patio is the best seat in Kensington. Cold drink, warm sun, good company. We'll see you out there.
Est. 1993
A proper local.
Lynn and her brother Bill bought the Kensington Pub in 1993. Since then, dozens of family members have worked here, some for decades. That closeness carries over to every guest: come in two or three times and the staff will know your drink and your usual order.
The menu is real traditional English comfort food: Cornish pasties, sausage rolls, plowman's lunch, and more. To drink: 14 domestic and international beers on tap, a full cocktail list, and a thoughtful selection of wines and spirits.
KP is a neighbourhood meeting place. Low staff turnover means familiar faces on both sides of the bar, and loyal regulars who have been coming for years. The pub weathered hard times and came back stronger. “To be able to have it for so long and to keep thriving is a good feeling.” Lynn Porteous, owner
